Reports from Comic-Con
Liv was on the Super panel at Comic-Con earlier Today, and first reports and photos are coming in!

Newsarama.com covered the panel live. A few tidbits:

  • Tyler plays a drug addict in the film. Fillion asks her how she allowed someone to actually stick a needle in her foot for one scene. She said she didn't mind because it was a real nurse, and it was just water that they injected.
    "If I were half the woman you were, I'd be twice the man I am," Fillion said.

  • Wilson's Twitter following, currently at 1.7 million is brought up. Tyler joked that "he twitters during scenes sometimes."
    Fillon, another popular Twitterer, also chimed in: "Rainn twitters too much."

  • Tyer called the shoot a "really quick, guerilla-style production. It was intense."

  • Liv made a plea to Cheap Trick: "Cheap Trick," Tyler called out during the panel for the R-rated superhero film Super. "Hellow if you're out there. There's a song of yours we really want to use and we think you're amazing and we love you. Could you please let us use it for almost nothing?"

  • Liv didn't use a double for injection scene: Liv Tyler doesn't like hand and foot doubles, so she actually had fake heroin shot up her foot with an actual needle, which prompted Fillion's response "If I was half the woman you are, I'd be twice the man I am.

  • About playing a drug addict: Liv Tyler got into the mind of a drug addict by spinning in circles in her trailer while taking the occasional shot of whiskey.

    Update: Liv was hanging out in some other places at Comic-Con, like in "The Other Guys" panel (visiting her friend Eva Mendes) and toying around in a mask!

    Liv at Comic-Con
    Super director James Gunn confirmed on Twitter that Liv would participant in the Super panel at the San Diego Comic-Con convention next weekend.

    Besides Liv and James Gunn, co-stars Rainn Wilson, Ellen Page and Nathan Fillion (and possibly others) will be there as well.
