Actress and model Liv Tyler, 33, lives in California with her five-year-old son Milo
What's your daily beauty routine? I use Rodin body oil, which is amazing, and Shu Uemura Skin Purifier, followed by Laboratoire Remede Alchemy Moisture Emulsion on my face. I try to get as much sleep as possible and treat myself to a face mask every so often.
Your make-up must-haves? Concealer followed by a touch of Givenchy Hydra Sparkling Magic Lip and Cheek Balm, which is a great multitasker. Then I curl my eyelashes and apply lashings of mascara.
Do you wear make-up every day? I like to let my skin breathe but I do wear some make-up every day. I try to go for the 'no make-up' look though!
What would be your desert island beauty essentials? Creme de la Mer lip balm is my absolute favourite; it's so moisturising. And Terax Hydrate Botanica conditioner keeps my hair in tiptop condition.
How do you relax? I try to take time out for myself regularly.
I love to read or listen to music while I'm soaking in a big bubble bath.
What is your worst beauty habit? Not getting enough sleep.
Your signature scent? Givenchy Very Irresistible Sensual is my favourite - otherwise, I love musk oil from Bigelow in New York.
What are the best beauty tips you've ever been given? My grandmother, who is my beauty icon, always taught me to cleanse, tone and moisturise every day. And I always do - no matter what.
How do you get yourself ready for a night out? I like to give myself an hour to get ready. I'll listen to music and have a cocktail while I'm doing my make-up - it really puts me in the mood for fun.
'My exercise regime? I like to go on long walks in Griffith Park near my house in Los Feliz, and I always take the stairs instead of the lift.
What do you wear during the day? For me, it's all about being comfortable - and hopefully looking cool at the same time - so I love G-Star baggy jeans. But I do enjoy occasions where I can dress up too, such as movie premieres and parties.
What do you eat on a typical day? Lots of fruit and vegetables. I try to limit my meat intake if I can - it makes my eyes look whiter and my pores less obvious.
