Talking Movies / The Incredible Hulk

Apologies if someone's already mentioned this, but I saw a an advert for Hulk-themed kids meals at Burger King. They have a Betty Ross figure. If you go to their website and click on "toys" you can view it.

General Liv Discussion / Liv and Roy split

I'm going through seperation with my husband right now too, and even though it is very hard to face, I know it's the right thing. No one comes to that decision lightly and I'm sure Liv is doing what's right for her, she's a strong lady and I believe in her resilient spirit :)
I went through this, too. (Of course, I did not have to deal with the scrutiny of the international media!) It's been several years now and, looking back, I can honestly say that, as difficult as it was, it was all for the best. Sometimes it takes more love and respect for each other to take the step to separate than it does to stay together for the sake of public image. Ariel, my thoughts are with you and Dirk. My thoughts are also with Liv and her family. I'm sure that, with the love of those close to you, all of you will make it through this period in your lives just fine.

I think she looks lovely. Perhaps the fabric isn't translating well onto film. Looks like it might have a shimmer finish that would be beautiful in person but lost in an image. I love the new (or at least new to me  :P ) hairstyle. Gorgeous!

I'm going to Auckland for a conference in November and am trying to figure out how to spend my 2 days off. Any suggestions?

I don't think she'd look any different, really. I got the impression she might be talking about a small procedure after she is finished having children. I have several friends who have chosen to do that and they still look the same to me. They took off all their baby weight with diet and exercise and then had a few things tightened and lifted in the midsection so that they would fit into their clothing better. Basically, it brings the body back to where it was. It's fairly common in these parts and I would imagine its almost routine in show business where your figure is connected to your livelihood. And's her body, her career, and her decision. I think its cool that shes being open about it.  :heart1:

She is simply saying she does not rule it out someday if she needs it.
Yes, that's exactly the impression I got from the quote.  ;)

From the looks of her mom, grandmother, dad, etc..., she has good genes.
You're not about hitting the gene-pool lottery!  B)

Maybe. I agree she doesn't seem like the surgery type. And she looks fantastic to me. But, as a woman over 30, I have to say that the "I would NEVER have plastic surgery" claims of my early 20s are quickly fading. I most likely won't have anything done (simply because it's very expensive and, frankly, a little scary) but the word "never" is definitely off the table. I am by no means a glamour-puss but wrinkling and sagging skin seems to pop up overnight and can be very depressing some days. For someone like Liv who makes a living off of her looks I can completely understand the desire to have some work done.

*Please note, I am NOT promoting the idea that women shouldn't grow old gracefully. I love the character in the faces of older women and hope that I can resist temptation and go the natural route, too. It's just not always easy to accept when the wrinkles and grey hairs are your own! :P

Oops! I just posted this under Chelsea in the family section.
Apologies for the cross-listing...I didn't think to check this board first.

Liv's Family / Chelsea Tyler
« on: May 15, 2007, 07:12:41 PM »
Access Hollywood broadcast a story last night about the celebrities partying in the Bahamas. In it they showed a few clips of Steven with Liv and Chelsea. Both of the girls looked lovely and Liv just stood quietly by and let Chelsea have the spotlight. It was very sweet. You can view the video here. They’re near the end (past Lindsay, past Janet, past Whitney) under the heading “Tyler Family Jewels”.  :P

They all look lovely. And I adore Julianne Moore. So, is her daughter Liv named after our Liv?
I never really thought about it before but seeing them together makes me wonder.

Talking Movies / Reign Over Me
« on: April 04, 2007, 04:45:35 PM »
I'm very surprised that no liv's fan for USA / Australia / Canada already saw Reign Over Me??

Come on!  :D
Who saw it?
I saw it! Sorry, I haven't been on the boards much lately. Anyway, Liv did a great job (she was beautiful as always) and Adam Sandler deserves an Oscar. Bring tissues. I laughed throughout the movie but there were two instances where I cried my eyes out. And I got a big kick out of the fact that there was a 01.20.09 bumper sticker posted behind the reception desk at the dentist's office. Subtle little sign of the times...  :P
