Space Station 76
« on: September 20, 2012, 06:18:18 PM »
I know this is not official or anything but it's getting stronger since Liv is in Los Angeles.

Film looks like a funny and smart sci-fi. It already has its web site http://spacestation76.com/ with some early artworks. You can read the synopsis there, under the "objectives" section.

Liv will either play a character named Misty, a hottie and a leading role, which is great, or Jessica, another hottie but with less screening time.

On August 21st, Jack Plotnick, the director of the movie, wrote this on his facebook page.
Quote
Just three weeks until we start shooting! The sets are being built, the robots are being programmed, and I'm walking on air. ...No, I'm LITERALLY walking on air. The artificial gravity generators aren't working yet!
...which is I think amazing how they can build spaceships quickly when they want to... <_<... hear me Mr. West!!

3 weeks from August 21st makes...11th of September...which means can happen anytime soon.

And her supposed co-star Patrick Wilson wrote on his twitter account that he's filming a movie in L.A (on 15th September).

Space Station 76's side effects may effect "the Side Effect" (haha very funny :P) But at least we'll see Liv in a sci-fi.

from Patrick Wilson's interview:

Quote
When we spoke with Wilson afterwards, we wondered about what he had coming up and he said he had just wrapped shooting Jack Plotnick’s sci-fi comedy Space Station 76 with Liv Tyler and Matt Bomer (which you can learn more about when we post the video) and he also thought that Insidious 2 will be sooner rather than later:

It's good to see Livvy and Patrick Wilson in another film together- but I still have not seen The Ledge as yet.  :(

I just saw the info on the opening page, all of them is true but I don't think Liv' going to play Misty, because Marisa Coughlan tweeted some photos from the set too on her twitter account including Liv and her "set children". The only mother character is Misty, besides they added some cast on imdb, it confirms Coughlan as Misty.

I think Liv is going to play Jessica, and it'll be a cameo-ey type of thing, unfortunately.

That site update their interview and posted that video of Patrick's:

Quote
Actor Patrick Wilson talks about a project he finished shooting called “Space Station 76”
vid, at ~7:45:

“I just wrapped a silly movie called ‘Space Station 76’ which is basically like if you were to put ‘The Ice Storm’ on the set of ‘Buck Rogers’. It’s crazy and awesome. With Liv Tyler and Matt Bomer. It’s ridiculously hilarious and yet playing with the authenticity of emotional struggles, but here in a seventies out of space action- it’s crazy. Jack Plotnick [wrote that]. It’s very, very, very funny. And it’s also- you’re the last to think it’s funny as the actor, so- [You have to keep it serious] Yeah. I’m the captain of a ship who’s closeted and dealing with my own issues and trying to keep it all together.”
