'thanke you' is not correct English. 'thankyou' is. If you meant 'thank you', then I'm pretty sure that that is not correct English either, you have to join the two words up.

I am pretty sure 'thank you' would be a correctly used expression. :)

*Ju*, to be honest I do not know such a word in English. :P But then again, my knowledge of the English vocabulary is limited as I am not a native speaker.

My biggest difficult in English are "at" ( :P ) using prepositions. So, sometimes when I get into trouble with it, I will come here and make some questions to you, if you don't mind.

So, if I used any preposition wrong in this post, you can start and correct me at first.  :D

Prepositions, always difficult to master perfectly in another language. Since they are often part of a standard expression (which can very well be similar to the translated expression, but then with another preposition word), you just have to get used to writing them down.

In the past I have had severe trouble with being at school. In Dutch you are on school. Yet in English that would mean you are sitting on the roof of the building.

looool Something are too difficult to master! (like you said, prepositions are one of then)!!!
Well, portuguese is totaly different of English, there are some words in english that it's smilar to portuguese, but we have the 'false friends' words that aparently have the same meaning in portuguese, but in real, it's totaly different!!!!!
I think the key of everything is practice! You don't have another way to learn it, you just have to read, write, listen and talk with no stop!
