word of the week
« on: August 05, 2005, 08:00:46 PM »
hello lovely people!

ok this may seem silly but like do you sometimes have a word that you cant stop saying?

well if that answer is a 'yes' then please post it here, and maybe how you started using it.

it doesnt have to be a weekly word it could be daily/hourly/weekly/monthly...... whatever you want!

example: last month i had the whole of my class calling people dude and dudette... at 1st i was calling people just dudes like the month before...then all of a sudden a few more people would be calling other people that and so it spread through the whole class...and into the other 3 classes

now my word is freak and freakozoid.....i got that from my sister and so everything thats weird i call it freaky....and stuff.

please participate...it would be great! thanx

love
.Princess Arwen.

well its not actually a word, its more like a small sentence but anyway..
Lately Ive been using this all the time: "Ooooo...I so like this!!"  :P
I mean when we're out with my friends shopping I use it everytime I see something interesting, and I guess they're all sick of me. But its not the way I type it, you really must hear me saying it...em, its pretty annoying aI could tell.

Most of my own, similar words would be Dutch, which is a problem with translating. But I have tried to explain a lot of things this week, both in Dutch and English, and I discovered I used the word basically in an overdone fashion this week.

I guess it's alright when speaking English, but I detest hearing it in Dutch sentences. But I know heard myself doing it, even twice. Bah.

My words are more like my words of my life! I always use them. They are:

Dude and confuzzled. Those two words are forever in my mind dictionary!

Confuzzled basically means confused, so you can say confuzzle and confuzzling too.  ;)
Welcome to the rock 'n' roll jukebox of my life.
