I find that there's a lot of good modding that takes place here, but some forums have gone a bit astray from what the purpose of a forum is, that is expression of individuals. There seems to be a lot of post consolidation on the off topic forum, hence my lack of involvement there. It seems silly to me that everyone's thoughts are in a 'what are you thinking now' thread.

I'd like to see things less 'categorized' as I don't feel people should be fit into certain molds or ideas that were previously created.

Thanks.
I kind of agree with what you're saying. I don't like the moving of new topics into "master threads" like "what are you think about now".
It only happened a few times, though, and mostly with that thread... I would like to see less of that.

"Master thread" is probably a good phrase for it. It just seems like you're trying to make everyone fit into a pre-determined place. It stifles individuality.

I appreciate the feedback.

I haven't always been notified why or when a thread of mine's been closed.
That particularly bugs me... We do have a "policy" of notifying a member any time their message is changed or moved or deleted, and letting them know exactly why. (I have talked about it many times with my "fellow mods".) If that didn't happen, it's probably an exception and not the rule, and I apologize.

sometimes members seem to be able to address people the way they want- and mod/admin seem to think nothing of it.
Sometimes things happen behind the scenes, so you may not have all the info. Generally, we tell people off if they bother and annoy other people, but it may be discreet.

Also, you can always contact one of the admins for more info, explanations, feedback, whatever... Most of us are nice! :P
That's all I have to say for now. I hope you stay! :D

Indeed. You might have noticed that we are telling people off via PM, of course everyone else doesn't notice it then.  :)

After the couple of days passed now, I've looked at things in perpespective, and things are starting to straighten up now, I'm really happy now- if I can say it like that :) , after talking to friends and stuff, things have gotten better and I am happy to post again :) . I've just been really stressed lately, but I'm not stressed that much anymore, so I'm really happy- everythings alright now :) .

I'm not sure that this is the right thread to post this message in, but this idea just came into my mind so: I thought that if we have a "Be right back" pinned thread, why wouldn't we have a pinned thread in which newbies would introduce themselves and we could say welcome to them? :)

I'm not very good at choosing topic titles, but it could be something like:

Topic Title: Are you new?
Topic Description: Introduce yourself

Those were only my ideas, I'll let you decide. :)
